In February of 1988, Mike got his dream come true when he and wife Joanne were able to purchase a towing company. Starting with just two and a half trucks, Consolidated Towing was founded.

The trucks, starting with good old Truck 1 (formerly known as the Happy Hooker) have been the mainstay of the business from the beginning. While truck 1 now has a new life with Mike’s son in Arizona, the legend says that the twin booms had two sexy pin-up girls painted there…hence the “hooker” moniker. There hasn’t been a request for the Happy Hooker in years, but it makes for a good story just the same.

Mike dedicated himself to building a company based on customer service. When he used to do all the work himself, he used to say “Anything, Anytime, Anywhere.” Now with the largest orange fleet in Central Oregon and the dedicated staff to run it, he doesn’t have to say that anymore.

Family owned and operated; Consolidated Towing is a part of the Central Oregon culture. The company is proud to say that it has provided steady employment since that first day.
